Kabuto Noodles PR event
Written by Louisa Joy
Early July, the Girl Skate Mag team were invited down to Artist Residence in Bristol to hang out and eat all new noodles with the Kabuto team. Here’s what the girlies think…
Weak, limp, lifeless....
No, this isn't the 2009 Cheryl Cole L'Oreal advert! It's the general consensus on instant noodles of our time.
Well STOP consuming floppy wet noodles right now, and GET INTO the all new Kabuto Wok-Style Noodle range.
The latest range of Kabuto Instant Noodles are revolutionising the soggy instant noodle into a brand new stir fry style that’s ready in minutes.
Unlike the usual seep and soak noodle pot, the new Kabuto range features smart packaging that allows you to pour boiling water into your noodles to cook as normal, but this is where the familiarity ends…
With purposeful drainage punctures, pour out unnecessary boiling water after 5 minutes of soaking, or once your noodles are of a sufficient firmness to your liking. From here, just stir in the luscious wok-style flavour of your choice and there you have your very own instant stir fry from scratch in seconds!
With three delicious flavours to choose from, you're bound to love the fresh Kabuto tastes. Choose from a Korean BBQ kick, classic Chilli or of course unwavering Original flavour, and be ready to make your lunch a little more interesting.
Korean BBQ hits hard with a sweet and tangy flare, while the Chilli flavour brings a spicier, enigmatic tone to your noodle experience. For those who know and love the authentic taste of Kabuto, the new formation of Original Kabuto flavour really breaks through with the all new stir fry formula.
The event was buzzing, with a glass of wine and a gorgeous Kabuto-inspired brownie from Mattaroons in hand, we got to work meeting all the gorgeous girls keeping the culture alive in the South West Lily (@themediaproject_) Ruby (@bristolfoodfinds) and Kaya (@loveforbristol). With a delightful hint of future potential, and even meeting some fellow skaters, we left the event with more girlies in the gang and lots of budding ideas of working together.
We also spoke to Kabuto cadet Molly as well as Founder Crispin Busk and discussed all things surfing, skateboarding and noodles. After finding out Molly purchased a board in lockdown, she’s been a GSM fan since.
